Problems!
I don't know if he has realized this is only a four cylinder but...
1. I talked to the guy that is bending me up the kit (custom exhaust is his thing, he has been doing it for decades), and he only has the oval magnaflows in stock. Any difference from round?
2. Says Magnaflow is for cat equiped vehicles only. He claims that he was running dynomax (
) mufflers on his truck with no cats, and it worked great. Switched to magnaflows and it ran like crap. He said he lost 30 hp, which I HIGHLY doubt. He suggests something other than magnaflows if running no cat.
3. He suggested flowmasters. From what I have heard, they are loud, and poor quality compared to magnaflow. (watch the
start to fly)
4. I hate this crappy computer, especially the keyboard. My laptop got infected with a virus, so I refuse to use it until it is fixed. I put McAfee on it, but it didn't fix the problem. Suggestions?
Please help! I want to get this done, but I can't do anything until I figure out what to do about the testpipe back.
