Definately a bad move but in all those dudes' defence,it's a natural reaction.I SERIOUSLY doubt that for even a second a person thinks they can hold up a vehicle
,it's just a reaction.I have a picture of a buddy of mine on our first real "official" run about 9 years ago,he was coming up this gnarly hill and at the very top it would throw your vehicle towards the driver's side and damn near put you on your side(quite a few vehicles flopped there that weekend),anyway,I managed to take the picture right as it was gonna go over and he stuck his arm out
.We laughed at that all weekend and every now and then I come across the picture it still makes me laugh a little,he brought his arm back in right away and to this day he still says "Ha Ha,what the hell was I thinking?".It's just a reaction,kinda like when you're riding a bike and you're gonna fall over.
