It also helps to be able to work on things if you want to be a good parts guy. Since you're on the forum I'll assume that you can. I work with 2 lazy bastards...one of them always has me do his brakes, the other guy did an engine swap in a 90s Mustang and fried the wiring and computer while doing it.
I am still young and learning. Just look at my knuckle rebuild post. It has taken like a month to get as far as I am. Maybe I am not quite ready for NAPA yet (Autozone, here I come!
