Post up a pic of the carb.  Also, there are few things that will senselessly drain your pocketbook than becoming a parts changer.  Borrow or rent a fuel pressure gauge and see how it's pumping.  Pumps aren't expensive, but if you keep buying parts it's gonna add up fast.  Most the guys under me are professional parts changers and it bugs the hell outa me!
