hold on..... popped the hood and saw inside the fuel filter and saw it was sucking more fuel?
you have a carb - did someone add an aftermarket fuel filter to your truck?
the carbed trucks have a white plastic fuel filter mounted above the gas tank.. or a big goofy black thing under the hood... how did you see inside of it?
idk but its a clear plastic fuel filter and the new one i just bough is clean plastic also so i dont think its aftermarket and yes it was sucking in more fuel into the carb than was being put into the fuel filter from the gas tank
