I have an 86 efi runner and it sounds nothing like this. It's a VERY noticeable tick. I think it's louder now than it was before. I talked to a guy I know today who's a Toy guy and he said it could be one or more bolts backing out of the flywheel if nothing else checks out. Knowing the quality of the rebuild I've seen evidenced so far by the PO I wouldn't put it past them to have not put loctite on the bolts and or not torqued them properly. That would totally make my day
