« on: Aug 06, 2008, 07:06:55 PM »
i have a noise coming from the rear of my toy based buggie. when im moving it makes a tick the faster i go the faster the tick.
Its been regeared with a 529's and a spool. The rear drive shaft was shortened but not balanced "half ass job on my part" could it be the u joint? a chipped tooth on the ring gear?

Sounds like a chipped tooth on the ring gear to me.
