No, no, no. I think my point has been overlooked.
When someone says "import" THEY ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT IMPORTED FROM JAPAN.
That's the whole thing!!
Here is a perfect example:
1) Someone says something bad about "Import Part XYZ"
2) Then someone snaps back and says "well your Toyota is imported so who cares!"
The thing is that your Toyota is imported from Toyota Co. of JAPAN but "Import Part XYZ" is not imported from Toyota Co. of JAPAN but rather from some other country with much lower quality standards than Japan!!
If "Import part XYZ" was imported from Japan then we wouldn't be complaining about it!!!!!
Like how we never complain about parts from Koyo Seiko, Nachi, Aisin Seiki, NSK, Denso, whatever.
It is a fact that these Japanese companies have much higher standards and attention to detail then most companies in China, Korea, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Antarctica, Pluto, The moon, yadda yadda yadda It's a fact.
