since he has the kit with the upper tab you have one point decided allready. Personally I cut my own plates for BOTH sides of the frame (bad experience in the past), I put the two bottom holes parallel in the middle of the frame and slide them till the pitman barely clears and that is where it goes. I take a hole saw and cut out the frame to fit in pipe to sandwich between the frame and plates and drill the box out to fit the 1/2" bolts and that is it! Not sure on the kit though..
