4x4 labs x-over steering

 This system puts the tie rod above & behind the axel. Anyone running this kit? If so how is it holding up for ya, pro's & con's.

Yep,thats the link. I went up and checked out the shop and talked to luke ( the owner ) and I really like the set-up, but before I drop the $$ I would like some feedback from people running them.

that looks like a pretty trick setup for sure. But my question is what if your going to run a link setup. It looks like that would interfere with the links :dunno:

Keeping in mind that I really don't know jack about setting up anything stock or custom yet  :hammer: something in that design just doesn't sit right with me.
One thing is the clearance on the tie rod over the differntial. Would it still clear well with a high pinion set up?
Secondly, would be the angle on the pitman arm. It almost looks like it could break over to the opposite angle. It could just be the way it is on the Landcruiser shown, but with the angle from the steering box to the steering arm does that cause any loss of efficeincy in the steering? It seems like you would have to rotate the steering wheel more to get an equal amount of turn in the wheels.
Lastly, where would you put a steering stabilizer?

I've installed this system on a spring-over cruiser with OME springs, and it works perfect. very stout setup and clears everything :biggthumpup: I also have the same setup(except it has flat arms) for my own spring under cruiser which will be installed before CM'04. I'll let you know how it fits.

Looks like the tie rod would interfere with the diff when running a high pinion.

Looks to me as if it would be all over the sump on compresion. My sump allready hits the axle housing on full stuff. And i know i couldnt run this setup.

he sells difrent arms for difrent lifts it's over the springs run a straight edge from spring to sping and just order the arms you need
