This may be a dumb question, but since it's already an electric choke, couldn't you just run a switch from a source thats hot with the ignition on to the factory choke harness? That way you could turn it on/off at will with a switch......seems to good to be true though, i know that there is some vacuum stuff involved with the choke too......
