You're definately not alone in this, I always notice these and get a little chuckle out of the superb "chevy quality" it represents. When you don't care enough to use a quality product on your truck it basically says you don't care about how your brand quality is percieved. Sadly, chevy/gmc seems to have dropped to the bottom rung of the already low level of standards and quality of american rigs.
I love my dad's 72 chevy, sure seems like they had a lot more pride in their products back then.
