I have a question that might be relevant to this swap. "Is there a tuning change when switching to 4WD mode?" Pretty sure swapping to 2WD with a 4WD ECU would be fine, but I've heard 4WD doesn't do well with 2WD ECUs. If there is a "4WD tune" in the ECU accessible at the flip of switch......
With the number of wires going into those ECUs, it'll be more like the flips of 50 switches
