BigMike you are making some great points that I agree with a whole heart. The topic at hand here is whether Evolution or Creation should be taught in school or not. Since evolution is a theory (belief) and creation is a theory (belief) neither of them should be presented or both should be presented equally. Personally, I don't think either should be discussed because there are so many other "proven" scientific topics to delve into. This is stricly for PUBLIC EDUCATION. If you want to pay to learn more about creation, go ahead. If you want to learn more about evolution, go ahead. But as a tax payer, I hate seeing my money going towards public schools teaching theories.
