I used a 84/85 front drive line and had it lengnthed so 3/4 to and inch of slip is showing using the stock splines. For the front used a rear shaft from the same 84/85 and had a 10 inch spline section added, relubed, and shortened so three inches show, no balance on front, and balance on rear
you said front 2 times which is your front build drive line & which is the rear?

You'll want to run CV joint in the rear. Or does it already have one? The sharp angle will cause the u-joints to fight each other and give some bad vibes.
No but I had planned on putting one in just wanted to make sure my thoughts were on the right page.

I'd be fine with the shafts, it's the short slip in the front that's gonna give you trouble. Build that front shaft out of square receiver tube.
