Wow, very interesting. I'm sure they are up their often but it's the first time I've heard of it. They must be researching the Yosemite Toad (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yosemite_toad) which is 1) endangered, 2) have a mating season that has now restricted the use of the Dusy/Ershim trail, and 3) I've never seen one of these in my entire life and I've been on the Dusy/Ershim since 1984.
