You need a whole carb? Jarrod has one he's been trying to sell. If it's something you want let me know and I'll talk to him. Just transfer money with PayPal and I can ship it to you from work for freeeeeeee. Up to you man. Let me know.

I'll let you know something. How much?

I have one that's gummed up I'll send you. Soak it in some atf or something to free it up them take the parts you need

A whole carb? Really that would be best because I need the 3 screws that hold the base plate to the upper part of the carb and the base plate. If at all possible make sure it has the little slide on part that has the plate that the idle screw adjust off of. That's what I was missing on this last one.

Ya'll dont happen to have the black plastic spacer either?

Okay so what tire?

I'm heavily considering 36" Iroks, TSL, or TSL SX.

Maybe even a 38" TSL, but I'm low and only 105" WB so I don't wanna get too big of a tire and it look unbalanced. If I had a longbed, I'd go with the 38" tire no doubt, but on my short little truck they might just be too much!

I can't believe I said that! Normally I scream bigger the better, but I want a tire that works good for my size. That allows me to have maximum flex, good traction, and less stress on the driveline. I like the weight of the Iroks for that and that they're a big 36..

Any input?

Wheeling in rocky trails, sometimes they're muddy rocky trails or just sorta dirty, rooty, and muddy when rained on trails. I'm not a huge fan of hill killin the dirt climbs where its WOT and spinning all the way up. I tend to lean toward the rock stuff. YouTube "V-notch @ morris; Good, bad, and ugly @ morris; Los Primos @ morris; Playground @ choccolocco, Upper and Lower Ditch @ HPO, etc" Those are the trails I like to run and stuff like that.

Here's a pic of my truck on 37" MTRs that were practically brand new. This was before the IFS rear and IFS hub swap. And on weird backspaced rims like 4.5". I would run like a 15x8 3.75" backspace. They were *almost too big!

Next to Wills longbed truck on 38 TSLs. The MTRs were a good bit taller.

The iroks will be your best bet for Morris mountian. Your rig isn't heavy  enough for tsl much less sx. My 80 is on 38 tsl and when I took it I aired way down and they still spun alot. I had sx on a suburban and it did well in dirt and mud but iroks work well on the terrain up there.

That's what I've been thinking. Some guys up here hate them but they are running them on heavier a hill killing type buggy/bouncer. Its not really the tire for the kind of riding that they do.

I'll prolly wind up with a 36" Irok, unless I find a good deal on a used set of something else.

I personally hate iroks. I have them and still don't like them. They do great in youe neck of the woods where rocks exist. Here we have mud, sand, and creeks. I like tsl or bogger for that but I was impressed at how the iroks work in their proper place.

I would go with iroks or even pitbulls. We have a little different terrain out here than you guys have back there it seems lol. Everyone here loves the iroks, pbr's, and the new trepador stickies have been real popular in the last few years. Crazy seeing sticky tires work on a 100+ degree day on the rocks. But yes i agree i wouldn't go with the SX's.

It can get pretty slicky muddy at places like HPO and Stony and that almost makes me want a TSL.. I wonder how much better a TSL really is than an Irok in a creek bed or slick hill.

I would prolly be happy with either!

My personal experience tsl will walk off and leave irok in mud like a hill climb or a muddy creek. However they need some grooving to get them soft and pliable like the irok in order to still handle that terrain and do well on hard slick rocks like youe speaking of. I would run iroks in the 36 flavor on your rig if it were my decision.

The rest of my stuff for propane came in the mail today  :smokin:

Huge thanks and shoutout to Hunter (redneckcustoms). He hooked me up right, gave me everything I asked for and even more that he thought I might need. Hope I can help him out one day as much as he helped me.

When do you plan to mess up your rig and try this propane junk out lol?

Also what seat are you running? Looks like some sort of maybe split bench with very small head/neck rest ?

Hater  :moon:

I hopefully will get to fire it up this afternoon. Gotta run do some Christmas shopping real quick and then I'll get after it.

Just the stock bench. It has a cover made for a Tacoma, but it has real big pads that made it feel like a bucket seat.

I have some seats and harness' but I'm not gonna put them in till I have a cage.

Prolly not.. Think I'm gonna do an exo over the cab and through the fenders.. The B-pillar will go inside the bed not over.

I'll post pics of what I mean when I get a chance.

Here's the pile of junk I cleaned out of the engine bay tonight. Still got a lot more to go, but its getting there. I'm trying to save a few lbs here and there and clean up the engine bay. It looks 100x better already.

Hunter, turns out the 2nd barrel flap thing is locked up. Its soaking in some PB blaster. If it don't break loose tomorrow, then I'll take the screws out and pop it out. I have another that I can swap in if I mess it up. Got most of it cleaned up and ready to go though.

That condenser you removed has a small 90° fitting on it. Any way you could safely remove it and save it for me? I had to ghetto one up on my dd and would like to put a factory one back on it. Bummer on the carb I figured it would need some lube lol I have another one that isn't gummed up at all I could send if you can't get one to work.

Finally got about 15 minutes to work in the shop this morning before heading to the fiancé's house for Christmas. Here's where I am..

Redneckcustoms13 sent me a whole carb and a little pile of other parts:

So I seperated them and was having problems with the larger side (2nd barrel to open) opening up:

So I took the two plates off of the carb base that Redneck customs sent me and put them on the old carb base that I already had. The reason I did this is because the plates on the old carb base I already had were so bent up they looked like potato chips and the ones from Hunter were nice and straight. :

And put them on the old carb base which is fully functional (sorry for the blurry pic):

[/URL]

Now I have to move all these throttle linkage parts from the carb plate redneckcustoms sent me:

To this carb:

I know those pics are hard to follow cause it all looks the same. So here's a throwback to Chimney Rock down in Pell City, AL to give y'all something pretty to look at:
