Crazy neighbor
« on: Oct 26, 2015, 10:03:51 PM »
So I was able to make it home this weekend. I was in the garage wrenching on the truck and get up to grab a tool and a man was in my driveway. He said my dog was barking and he couldn't hear the football game. I was just trying to be friendly and ask who was playing. He told me it was the 49ers and saints. I was like wow they play on Saturday now? He came backing asking about my military career and then stated I was a bully and baby killer. So of course I flipped out on him and told him next time he's on my property I would knock him out. Well I wait up the next morning and my truck is tagged with an eyeball on it. Now I have my neighbor hashing me and tell my other neighbors I'm hostile. Well after some research I found a link with him involved in fraud. So I shared it. I called the cops and they said I can't really do anything...

.........He came backing asking about my military career and then stated I was a bully and baby killer. So of course I flipped out on him and told him next time he's on my property I would knock him out...........

Careful about making threats, idle or not, you can have a restraining order taken out against you for them, and if so, you will have to surrender any firearms you own.  A Pirate member went through something similar a few years ago with a neighbor harassing his son(IIRC), and went through hell to get his firearms returned.

I would consider installing some of those cheap security cameras to protect your property and cover your ass with any future interactions with your neighbor.  The next time he comes onto your property call the Police, he sounds like he is going to be a problem, and unfortunately due to the society we now live in you need to get LE involved early on to establish your position of being harassed(victim card), before handling it as a man should.

As far as what he is saying about you, not much can be done, he is entitled to his opinion, and an opinion isn't slander.

X2 on installing cameras.  Game cams are fairly cheap and silent, will catch him in the act.  Flipping out on him will only look better for him in the end and gains you absolutely nothing.

The part that confuses me, though, is le didn't have an issue with him vandalizing your truck?  They said they could do nothing about that?

Yeah i live on a ranch in southern colorado but still seem to have nieghbor problems, usually related to irrigation water but it doesnt matter where you live, theres always a d-bag nieghbor or 2.ive had civil standbys with the sheriff several times to prevent someone getting whipped and me going to the slammer.

Yeah, be careful. Any hostility and he can get an order out on you. Not the worst thing in the world, but it is inconvenient. Besides...if this guy has the balls to fudge FAA paperwork he's a nut or he's had multiple marriages...they don't eff around.

Really good deal on cameras/ DVR. Home security system, viewable in realtime over internet with smartphone, not a game camera.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/DNT-Standalone-8CH-CHANNEL-FULL-960H-HDMI-Network-DVR-Security-Camera-System-2TB/151596472182?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D33490%26meid%3D95eee033802f49ffa138f8bb56ae5f5c%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D4%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D201442087466

And for cameras, A super-low-light (.001 lux) nightvision one, WDR for daytime light/ dark (inside-outside double-exposure) perfection. Case sold separately, some assembly required. http://www.surveilzone.com/sony-960h-ccd-effio-v-800tvl-ultra-wdr-camera-cable-osd-cc1529

Or for super-cheap, still pretty good nighttime use (.05 lux). I just bought 4 of them. http://www.surveilzone.com/800TVL-Camera-5-20V-with-28mm-Wide-Anlge-Lens-for-FPV-g-1295

I did buy one of these, the nighttime view is amazing, it looks like a cloudy day, super-high resolution (joking, you prolly won't want to pay this much) http://www.ebay.com/itm/Utra-Low-Light-Starlight-FPV-Camera-0-00008lux-800TVL-1-2-Image-Sensor-/191673660261?hash=item2ca0a3f365

Here's the link for the cables. http://www.surveilzone.com/cctv-accessories/cctv-cables

I tend to buy everything separately, that way i can pick the best components for the least money. Most kits or bundled systems have the cheapest components they can convince you to waste your money on.

And on a more sinister note... :smokin:

This stuff might seem expensive but i promise you'll only buy it once. http://www.amazon.com/MAD-Pepper-Extract-Million-Scovile/dp/B00170SLO4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

Apply while wearing good surgical gloves, and possibly bread bags over your arms. You might want to wear a mosquito headnet to conceal your face and some old shoes if the ground is muddy and will take prints. (I do.) Product should be applied to car door handles, house door handles, to his basketball if he likes to shoot hoops, to a newspaper delivered to his sidewalk by the local paperboy, to a 1-dollar bill carelessly misplaced near his front door. And to other things only he should touch. Or you could use some cheaper stuff but it probably won't be as much fun. I haven't bought this stuff in years, but when i read some of the Amazon reviews i almost died i was laughing so hard.  P.S. Don't dispose of the gloves and bread bags in your own trash...use a Supermarket dumpster. OPSEC

Potato in the exhaust pipe still works.

Be a good neighbor and collect dog poop in the neighborhood...you know where to put it...fertilize his yard. On that note, full-strength concentrated fertilizer in a weed-sprayer can be used to write words on his grass. The first year it's so potent it'll kill the grass so you'll have brown words. The next year you'll have nice green words.

Subscribe by money order to porn magazines. Pick colorful titles such as 'Young'uns' or ' Anal Angels 7'. Perhaps order some adult toys.
Put his full name on the shipping address but use a close neighbor's house address. Maybe there's an old biddy in the neighborhood who gossips and knows everyone's business? Use her address...that way his 'tastes' are sure to become public. And if you check that neighbor's trash for a few days afterward, you may find the offensive items thrown away...if they are still in new-condition, stick them in an envelope with no return address, his full name and another neighbor's house address, and drop in a mailbox. Twice the coverage for the cost of postage!

A mason jar with a whole uncooked chicken or hen sealed inside makes a great gift when placed in a car, on the back floorboard. The uncooked meat will rot, you see, and release gases which will be trapped in the jar...for awhile. Eventually the jar will succumb to the pressure.

Frozen fish under the seat is fun too. Grumpy Old Men, 1993.

A can of paint stripper with a bunch of little holes punched in the lower edge, and one air hole in the top. I like 'Aircraft' brand paint remover myself. Carry it upside down plugging the air hole with your finger. Placed atop a car roof it will slowly leak out in long thin rivulets which will wash off quite easily the next day.

A house key which won't unlock the door but which slides into the lock can easily be broken off IN the lock. Or cut the tip off the key, and coat it with crazy glue just prior to shoving it in with a paper clip.

Valve cores can be removed from tires, and the tire won't go flat (usually) if you screw the plastic cap back on (especially if you help it stay on with crazy glue). It usually comes off the first pothole you hit.

The security lug nut on those fancy rims can be smeared with J-B Weld, either just making the outside not the same shape or filling a cavity, if present. Does his gas cap have a keyhole? I'm sure the car door does.

Roundup on those pesky hedgerows or those flowers in front of the window. A nearby neighbor's kid's bike constantly migrating into his yard. A 2x4 Liquid-Nailed to his front steps. Fish guts next to his front steps.

Or just some petroleum jelly on a door handle once or twice a month. Just imagine, he goes to grab the handle and..."Ewwww!! WTH is that?!!

Be creative. And have fun too.
