Hello all! like I said i've been reading/lurking around these sites for years and I would like to give back, so i'm learning how to post and all that jazz. I was ASE certified back in high school and have a welding degree to my name as well now. I bought my first toyota in 2012- a 1985 Hilux 22r, 5 speed,4x4. It already had a flat bed with roll cage thing on the bed. I've done some work to it since- Old Man Emu lift, re-enforced front axle and knuckles with the marlin crawler kit (Good kit by the way but gotta trade some turning radius for it and dr side shock moves a little bit and doesn't get along with the J-arm on the push pull steering set up) Marlin Crawler hi-steer kit, offy-intake w/weber. new hedman header, Custom built my bumper (turned out real good and I would like to show others how I did it but gotta post 11 posts first i reckon). Got a 96 4runner 5-speed 4x4 w/factory e-locker too. Had a seized motor in it when I bought it so a swapped in a junk yard one after having a terrible experience with a JDM engine place out of New Jersey. Anywho i'm ready to help out anyone I can because I have certainly used these forums to the max. Cheers.
