Does that guy with the slammed green jeep (maybe CJ5) have a build somewhere? That thing is clean!

It is an IFS toyota lol. 22re, 5 speed and toyota cases, stock pre tacoma IFS and an 8 inch rear axle. It was body swapped

Well Zippos schedule and mine finally aligned and we banged out the tire carrier.

Turned a UHMW slug for the swingout to rest on.

got it as close as we could while allowing for 40s in the future.  :sly:

I bumped my hard top in July and it made me worried about messing it up wheelin. They are pretty expensive to replace. Luckily there was very minimal damage. I picked up a used soft top that is in great condition. Ill run it in the summer and when I go wheelin .

Noticed a small puddle of coolant under the jeep and looked and saw a drip. Looks like the tank and the core are leaking . Dang plastic tanks. Anyway got the replacement just need to put it in. After that it looks like ball joints and new steering will be going in as well.

BJs already??

The stock style ball joints don't like big tires. Gonna replace with the synergy ones

Hit me up for a deal on the Synergy Bj's, I work at Poly which shares the building with Synergy

I thought you had a RJ?

I have a pro rock but it still uses ball joints. The dynatrac ball joints are not worth the money in my option for this rig

New radiator is in. I had a small amount of coolant leaking between the radiator and the plastic tank. Got it all fixed.

Just a mishimoto replacement. I just found a nice all aluminum version off eBay that has great reviews for like 50 bucks more . So far I is working great and running 6 degrees cooler

Got the soft top on and made a rack for the hard top. It isn't finished but works anyway

I was surprised at how much "tougher" your Jeep looks with the soft top installed yesterday.  It's funny how the lines of a soft top are not really that much different than the hard top, but it makes a difference.

Are you going to trim the rear flares to match the look of the fronts?

I don't think so. I actually kinda wish I kept the fenders stock. I'll eventually replace them with some metal cloak ones.
