Hi everyone. I have an 84 pickup and am running 529's and a lock rite locker. I run 35" tires as well. I have a rear axle from an 89 4runner I would like to get under my truck. I was considering dropping my differential in it and rolling but lately mine as been making loud bangs when I accelerate. As well as there is alot of play when you turn the pinion.
If I'm going to rebuild one I'm leaning towards the v6 diff
I really like the idea of a selectable locker.
Do the e lockers from the Tacomas work in a 89 v6 diff?
If not would my lock rite fit in the v6 diff?
What your guys thoughts on this?
Also what locker would you run on a budget. This is a daily driver
