Then got tired of the gas hog and found a 97 rolled runner for 400.00 for my 3rz swap

Installed a 2nd fuel tank with Chevy fuel tank switch so I can see fuel levels and use both fuel pumps on both tanks

I'm sure this is somewhere but 8 of 10 body mounts were the same from 2nd gen to first and just need to cut a bit of room for the first gen fuel tank to mount up. Body fits like a glove.

https://vimeo.com/102966705 knocking noise in video is hammering (background noise @ the shop), sounds like somewhere in the engine though, lol
Then installed a York compressor driven off the alternator pulley. The 22re Ac tensioner pulley welds onto it with the bearing removed so you can pass the nut through and still tighten it to the alternator.

Thought I would build a roof rack, wanted to make sure I could fit the 10x10 easy up 63" long and most of the camping gear. Overall I spent a little over 40.00 in materials. It's 40"x72" I don't have a tubing bender and I thinking I may like the square look for the 1st gen runners. The dom bumper looks nice but depending on how the rear bumper goes I may pull it off and make a front bumper to match...

Diamond all the way. And um..... how the hell did you do that? I'm running 42's for the last 4 years and have only bent a front housing. That was at our TTC with sagged out springs and waay to stiff bump stops. Oh ya and hitting 2ft logs wide open 3rd gear  double low. Dam frame twister. LOL

That's the second time I've seen a ball break like that recently. Sorry we were of no help Sunday morning, but you have inspired me to invest in a mobile welder... Hope to see you out there next year!
