hey gang looking for information on becoming an "Off Road Safety instructor" in Northern California, our club would like to have safety clinics for new or veteran off roaders, and I am retired so I have the most time to do this, any one know of a place to do this kind of training, to train others and not just how to drive but how to be safe and use the safety equipment.

I'm not there but would be interested in some tips on safety.  Were you planning on posting them in this thread?  If so I'd be thankful.

The Esprit de Four 4 Wheel Drive Club puts on a Safety Clinic at Hollister Hills SVRA twice annually. Google it and there's lots of links. Perhaps they would provide some info.

I think it's a great idea that's needed and would be fun to do, too. Best wishes for success and keep us posted.

The 1st thing you need to do is to learn how to drive safely yourself then you can teach it to others, it's kinda of practice what you preach which I will have none of around here. :gap:

Seriously, there are several clubs that do this for dealerships like Jeep, Landrover, etc., I've seen them at Hungry Valley teaching noobs the ropes.

I guess I could be one of your instructors then since I have been a safety instructor on the use of those very things. If you are looking for that type of certification then you may want to take the Wreckmasters Instructors course or since you are in Cali take the C.T.T.A. instructors classes. Of course it would take years of training and experience to achieve that and I don't think you want to do that.
