How's it going fellow offroad enthusiasts, my name is Diego and I'm the new owner of a 1980 toyota pickup 4wd "sport" model with the original 20r. Drove 21 hrs to pick it up In Northern California. I'm new to this truck but not to toyota been driving a toyota since 14. 92 pickup long travel, 98 4runner, 2008 Tacoma,2011 tundra 5.7, another 98 4runner. Looking forward to building this rig and sharing the progress with all of you. I just got it smogged today and passed the first time after adjusting the timing.

Welcome from the area you picked up the truck (NorCal)  what are your plans for it??

I picked it up in Madera Ca sittin on a farm lol I plan to  and make it my DD & offroad rig I've been going to the junk yards to get my mod list done. It currently has original 20r with a 5 speed trans and it has factory AC and power steering.

motor: 3rz
Trans: 5speed w56
Axles: stock front & Tacoma E locker rear 4.88 gears in both
Suspension: RUFs & Chevys or OME  sure yet
Custom seats 4 point harness since there's no seat belts, new paint job,  custom center console to carry my gun while on the trails and anything else that I might find on this awesome forum!
