Yeah we got some good pictures that day. The funny thing about that shot is there is about another 20-30 feet of water under the ice so if we broke through we would have been SOL. We both went at the same time to prove a point to the full size guys that both our trucks together weigh the same as some of theirs.

ryantowry_81

The sad news is that I sold that truck to a kid that just went through a divorce and I think his significant other stripped it for parts.

Thanks, i have a million pictures from alaska i could share, so much scenery up there. I lived in anchorage for a year then moved out to palmer about 60 miles north and bought a house there, lived in alaska for about 4 years.

I designed piping in power plants in remote areas so i got to see a lot of cool country.

Thanks man. Don't think I am done with the first gen even though I will probably still sell it. I like building I think almost as much as wheeling. I am going to probably still do a tube bed and lower the whole truck a couple inches possibly with a front spring slider.

Hopefully I can get some of my honey do's out of the way so I can get back to working on it.

dayodaman

I definitely wanna know how that spring slider gizzy works out

yeah there is a little, biggest problem is alot of the state is swamps and bogs so it requires alot of bridges to complete a trail and only about 15% of that state could be reached by mountain bike trail due to distance. those pics of me hunting were about 90 miles as the bird flies from the nearest road, that would be quite a pedal.
