New to the forum just stopped in to say hey.  I'm Erich  and I'm in northeast VT, where all the yotas are rusted to crap.  I've had a few in the past and did some stock wheeling, but never built one up.  Now I've got a halfway decent 80 pickup that I'm going to build.  Any other people here from the northeast?  Seems like everyone is from the west coast.

Thanks fellas.  Anybody have a rust free first gen frame they want to ship to me?  I've got to decide if I want to get a new frame or just put my front axle under something less crusty!

There's a few on Portland CL under sas Toyota but nobody seems to live around there. There's a sweet 2nd gen truggy cab and frame also under that headline

It might be worth it to make a trip to get a decent rig, and put the axle under it.

And Welcome!!

Yeah I've got family in southern PA and I'm going down in December deer hunting.  Might have to bring the trailer with me.  I'm leaning towards a third gen x-cab and do the SAS and 63" spring swap.  I've already got the 63" chev springs and can use the rears off the 80.
