Dana 60 crossover steering
« on: Sep 10, 2013, 12:16:59 PM »
Hi,

I am doing an SAS on my 96 T100 and running a Dana 60 up front. I want to do crossover steering and had an idea. It looks to me like you can remove the studs from the drivers side knuckle and move them to the passengers side knuckle. It also looks like the steering arm that comes off the knuckle can be moved to the other side as well effectively creating crossover steering.

Does any one know if this is possible? I do realize that there might me a clearance issue between the drag link and the oil pan. Thanks

Well I have determined that it is not possible. So I will be building my own crossover steering.
