when i assembled my crawler, i didnt use the supplies gaskets just gey rtv. hope that works
That works great too, just be sure to file down the surfaces with a long file to ensure that there are no nicks that would prevent the surfaces from mating properly. The only thing against using silicone and no gasket is that its a pain to clean up the silicone when you take it apart. But I've also had gaskets that dont want to come off, and then you have to scrape them off and that's annoying also..

hey why not run triples with 2.28x4.7x4.7 :dunno:
That is what Marlin has in his Crawler truck, 1,047:1 First Gear!!! And he originally went triple 4.70s and was 2,158:1 !! :shocking: But that's just crazy so he put in a set of stock gears

If you had 100 ft lbs of torq, that would make it 215,800 ft lbs at the drive shaft and with 5.29 gears in the rear it would be 1,141,582 ft lbs of torq. I think you could twist an axle with that at idle. :disturbed:

Yeah if you could ever stop the tire from turning. You would need to bolt some huge slab of metal directly to the spindle and anchor the slab down-
