« on: Mar 14, 2005, 11:16:56 AM »
ok when i bought my truck it had a headder and then i had some muffler shop put the stock manifold back on....i had no probs with the headder on it... only had probs since they put the stock manifold on.... they said it is common for the bottom bolt closest to the firewall is common for it to come out?? this doesnt sound right to me but it may be!!?? also.... the shop did all the work... putting the manifold on etc... if it is true for that bolt to come out should the shop be willing to do a no charge repair or hook me up with a real good price?? cuz i am damn poor!!!  :beerchug:

I have had that happen.  just get a new bolt and screw it in.  You shouldnt have to go to the shop to fix that

Might need a heli coil. When I changed to my header, I had to heli-coil 4 bolt holes.
