GREEN WEENIE GONE WILD

So I have a 89 Toyota that is a single cab truck. It is built up with 5.29 gears an dual cases an lockers with 37" tires ! I have rock sliders an winch an started a exo cage awhile ago! Custom skid plate which makes me pretty much flat belly! It has explorer springs in the rear an waggy up front! This set up seems to get it done for the most part! I have long field 27 spline birfs up front an they have held up pretty good also! Only broke a stock shaft since I've had em!! 

But my problem is I want to push the green weenie threw some GNAR stuff , not that it has not been good at that already but the leaf hangers get hung up all the time an my skid plate also needs redone! The other problem I have is I have 4 kids that want to go all the time an that's tough in as single cab! I was gonna build a 4 runner an then was gonna build a 4 seater  buggy an I don't have the money or time for that right now ! So I just went for it with greenie! Long story short I need more seats an buggy qualities!

Here's the plan !!
- 4 link rear
- 3 link front
- tube rear with 3rd seat
- doved an tubes front
- get rid of doors an front windshield
- front dig(later in project, I have a Dana 300 I plan to use)
- hydro steering also later on
- pretty much a buggy but keep it yota

-  have a set of 1 ton axles I have been working on! The front is a Dana 60 hp an the rear is a hybrid type a deal. It has a Dana 60 HP ceer an a ford 10.25 tubes! Both axles need gears an lockers an the rear needs a lot of work to finish ! So I'm just using my Yota axles for this build for now! Next winter I plan on putting the one tons on!

So about a month an half ago I started! The rear is getting close to finish! I need to pick up the rear seat this weekend an I still need a fuel cell! Its coming along pretty good an I can't wait to get it on the trail! We just had a big snow storm an all I could do is look at my truck! He's a few pics wat it looked like before this make over!

Upload pictures to photobucket.com then on the right side of screen you will see a box labeled image links click on the bottom one labeled IMG code when you click your comp. will automatically copy it for you then right click paste on your reply to you your thread and paste the link in the box pictures will stay full size no resizing required  and then as soon as its posted your picture will show up on your thread simple as that.  Good luck look forward to seeing pictures

come on man, I wanna see pics!!  haha  yeah dude, we've been telling you to get a photobucket account since you joined the forum!  its so much easier.  that's how I post all my pics on bh4wheelers and on here.  I have pics of your truck I could post, but I don't wanna over on your thread.

Ha I know right! I'm working on it so I should b able to load some up tonight! I was gonna post pics up in order how builds went so far up to now! But soon as I figure out how to do it from my phone I'll have pics up all day long!!!! Ya that's why I only post 3 at a time on bh4wheelers!

I found it easiest to post from my phone to Facebook, it automatically resizes. then I copy into a different folder for resized phots. Much easier for me on my droid.

Ya Thanx for the pointers! Oh I will fer sure be doing that dude! I'm still working on getting more than one pic at a time! Like I said if I did it on the lab top it would be easy but I do everything on my razor Maxx! Just a matter of figuring it out!

OK that should do it! Pics of my truck without the cage an pics with the cage! We did the cage like 3 months ago, maybe a bit longer than that. . We as in my buddy Caleb aka pumpkin toy with C4 FABRICATION . Kidd has mad skills, his help has been huge on this project for me! Without his help I would prob still be just looking at it! So Thanx bro an mad props to ya!      ha ha

So first I removed the ol mushed up box an cut the frame off behind the cab an got it basically ready for Caleb to come over with his bend tech program! Which is siiiick!  then I made some end caps for frame which got a little weird cause of the body mount! But I got it done an plated the frame where lower link mount will be at!

I'm at the doctor now doing xrays an a cast on my thumb so I got some down time now to hang out on marlin!!! That's why I like doing this on my phone cause I can when ever I want to an I have all the pics! Such handy little smart not smart phones! Hey Caleb u get a phone yet.....??

Here's the end caps an frame plate! They tell me there is a lot of stress in this area! Here's the lower link mounts to! Had Caleb take them to his house to burn them cause I don't have a 220 welder!

Also scored a new box $100.used it to make my skins in the rear! I'm using race runner air shocks 2.5! 16" travel in the rear an 14" in the front! Couple pics of the rear axle set up also! I need to still plate the truss to axle an wat not , I got a few plans for it! I also am gonna move the upper link mounts in a bit to get it a little more trianglulated. Few pics from the bendtech program also!

Here is the rear tube work!  I really like how its looking so far! It needs more tube but the main part is done! The bendtech program made this so easy, so awesome! .

Thanx man! I'm figuring it out a bit! But Caleb with C4 fab helped me out on the harder tube angle joints! Them get kinda weird! My goal is to make it nice an clean! Wait till u see my skins for the rear I made ! They turned out pretty good an I'm stoked on how its turning out! I'll get more pics up soon as I can! I'm picking up my rear seat Sunday an I still need a fuel cell! I hope in like 3 weeks to have it at least running an moving again! Then i have a few more weeks before a club run in june is my goal to have the rear done for the most part! I might jump on the front 3 link right after , that! I can't wait to cut more stuff up! Ha ha

Here's the rear skins! They are done other than trim out for the wheel but I need to flex it out for that.  this is the stage im at now!
They r just clamped on for now, I plan on getting some tabs at the local twisted customs buggy shop to Mount them. I might tack weld em on to, wat ya guys think of that??? I plan on a aluminum like tailgate in the rear to finish it off .     few more pieces of tubes in also in these pics.
