So Winters is now selling A340 shifters. I saw that these were going to be available right after the PRI Show I was at, so I had to buy one. I always like the Winters design.
So I made a Electronic Shift Control kit for my Winters shifter. No holes to drill, just bolt on a few brackets and a couple cams on, and wire in the 3 switches and go wheel. It's designed to give me 1-4 shift control electrically while using the mechanical shifter, this will help with downshifting and compression braking. Not what I need for snow wheelin' but here in the Midwest I think it will work fine.
Still have to get out and test it but at least all the parts are done.

Those are some purdy parts.  That shifter seems like it has a long throw to it.  It might look better once installed.

Defintely Toyota, just to give perspective. My_1982:2RZ-A340-Duals-Lockers-Winch-IROK's-63's-RUF's.............
Up to 2004ish the 4wd Tacoma's used the same trans. I love autos, but that's a whole thread that no one can agree on.
