Brandon you had a winch and a 302.  Your front end was just a bit heavier than the typical yota.  I still stand by the fact that 44044's are crap.
Full hydro, 186:1 with an auto and 44's what could go wrong??

maybe everyone should have a winch and a 302  :hahaha:

That was definately one of the factors for me choosing the 44044's but I have seen a lot of people run them with stock setups. All I know is my truck is gone but my next rig is also getting 44044's :) (and a winch and a 302)

I have a friend with 44044's in his 2 gen. extra cab.  It flex's pretty damn good, and it still has the stock 4 banger and just a tube front bumper.  The springs max out his R 5034's.  but keep the runner.

if you are not going to use yota designed springs run coils. It is more work to set up but it is well worth it. Additionally, with a link setup you will not have axle wrap/wheel hop. that truck is a total P.O.S. if you trade him you had better get some ky to go with the truck

Trust me its better to build your own truck then buy one and later end up rebuilding the whole thing. When your done with your runner its going to be a very nice rig! :rockingout: :best:
