My truck
« on: Sep 27, 2004, 04:39:17 PM »
I just updated my cardomain page with some new pictures of my truck.  Thought you guys would like to see it.  The old page didn't have pictures of my bumper or header, none of the good stuff!

Of course I have future plans!  Since it is my daily driver, and only vehicle, I have to keep it somewhat tame.  I am going to rebuild the bottom end of my engine this winter, still exploring options here.  I have already had the head redone with a cam.  I am thinking about buying either a NWOR lift with springs and torsion bars, or the same setup from downey.  I would love to convert to SAS but I just don't have the time to do it, and I can't drive with two wheels.  I think I am going to buy a LockRite just in time for spring wheeling too.

Me and friend made the bumper, it is 3inch tube steel (1/8 thick) and the upright portions are 5/16inch.  My bumoer means business.  I'd like to think if I put a mounting plate on it it could handle a winch.  It is mounted to my frame where the tow hooks bolt with doubled up 3/16 angle iron.  I've had some slight miss fire issuse occasionally.  It seems to miss under light load around 3000-4000rpm, but if I'm on it doesn't.  I've been thinking about upgrading to a better quality NGK plug, just haven't.  Maybe in the spring when I do my engine.

Andrew

PS Would love to SAS, but I don't have the time or :twocents: right now.  Maybe some day.

Over here where I live I could not find a single place to get NGK so just go to www.ngk.com and order them there....wires+platinum plugs cost me 60 bucks including shipping....when i would put bosh I would pay 14 for plugs plus like 50 for wires so you actually save money (oh and thats only cause Im getting the platinum the only ones better than those are the Iridiums)
