alright so im new to this site, but from what i have read i feel like alot of people know eachother outside of the internet.  im just curious what i need to do to meet some people willing to have me along on some trips and what not.  i live in SoCal right now, like San Diego area, and nobody that i know is into four wheeling.  i need to meet people who are because im missing out.  i just picked up a 80 toyota, and hopefully within the next few months i will have built it up enough to do any real wheelin, so if yall are down with meeting someone that shares a very common interest, let me know.

Here are a few links to wheelers in your area, there is also an event in March you may be interested in attending even solo, The Tierra Del Sol Desert Safari. There will be plenty of people to meet and get to know since it is probably the single largest gathering of 4x4 enthusiasts in the U.S. and it is in your area.

Cal4wheel holds multiple events in the south, so watch their web site and you'll see them. Also, Cal 4wheel is actually a collection of local clubs broken down by geography and most are welcoming to new folks. The Southern District includes San Diego.

well i wont beable to actual go to any of these events or anything until at least may, possibly june.  it all depends on when we get to leave Afghanistan.  but i appreciate all th links and information and look forward to bein home and wheelin finally!

I'm glad you bought a toyota and I suggest you don't make any mistakes and not buy all of your parts from marlin crawlers fine line up of American made and or toyota specified parts from marlincrawler.Com
