Hello, my name is Sergio Pablo, I'm from Santiago, Chile, a few months ago I purchased a Quad Cab Toyota Hilux 20R engine 1983, I am very interested to equip Cracks land, rocks, hills and mud.

The idea I have is to equip it with Iroks tires 37 ", packs a good Flex springs, Bilstein shocks and a Reduction.

I find it very interesting that forum so I hear everything that surrounds the old Toyotas, here in Chile are scarce these trucks, there are very few who walk the streets shooting.

I hope to take full advantage site to equip the Toyota.

My English is not the best, sorry.

Thanks for the welcome, Toyota has left Handlebar is not returned, were a few trucks that arrived in Chile.

Thank you very much for the welcome Wainiha, the Atacama Desert Samurai I toured with a couple of years ago, but I've always preferred a different type of terrain, I want Toyota to equip rocks and hills to explore the South of Chile Raid (Nahuelbuta, frozen pond, Birth, Angol).

Speaking in Atacama, the Dakar Rally passed through my country in two days, go through my workplace in Minera Gaby and come to my hometown in Santiago, how bad it has not acquired to pass them in either parts per Faena my work. 

Thank you for the welcome, the Forum has lots of interesting information, the good thing that we can exchange ideas and I can learn more from you.

There are some very good routes, short but very difficult and the scenery is truly spectacular!

Welcome Sergio! It's amazing to hear from someone so far away from me (California) that has such an like mine interest in Toyotas. Technology is nice. Like that truck of yours. And your English is certainly understandable so thanks for being brave and keep those posts coming.

Thanks for the welcome, I like many Toyota Hilux pickup trucks, long time I was behind my truck, until finally I got, and friends here on the forum have given me a lot of information, so I'm very happy because the weekend week I started out having some rusted bolts.

Remove the bolts first separate body chassis and work to separate them so quiet, I want to get first is the TC to disarm and to see which part is bad because it has a blow when in Low and braked, bearings and oil change also, after that check the gearbox and on.
