I've been lurking through this forum for a long time and figured I might as well register since I've gotten so much info from it.

Been around wheeling since before I could walk, spending most of that time in a '78 FJ55. Have a '65 FJ40 that's been under the knife for about 6 years now.

Now I spend all my time on my truck. '83 short bed, L52HD, 4.70 gears in the transfer, 5.29's and detroits, all purchased from Marlin.

In the process of re-working the whole suspension, soon to be on 35's, and if I have the funds, hopefully dual cases.

She's my DD crawler with 350k on the odomoter.  8)

Damn and I thought mine had a lot of miles at 244,xxx. Still the originally 22r? Welcome, I am also a newb here with an 83.

I've already gotten more advice from this forum than any other, at least for the pickup.

Yeah still has the 22R ticking away, and somehow manages to get better mileage than our '05 Tacoma, haha. It has been rebuilt once by a previous owner, but that's still a lot if miles, haha.
