Here is my dilemma ...
I sold my cherry str8 axle 22re 1985 4runner with 6inch suspension lift on mt baja 35''s in search of a pickup to haul stuff for work & save gas.
I wanted a commuter yet still be able to 4 wheel..
So I bought a clean 95 tacoma 3RZ single cab, It gets great gas milage, Just had a full service & timing done, its newer & more expensive than what Im used to buying, It has a 3'' revtek suspension lift & 3'' body lift on 33'' bfg mud terrains. The engine & tranny are in great shape & it drives good on & off the road. Its my 1st IFS ever & Im kinda skeptical about IFS. I like all the new components the tacoma has to offer but Im just not sure if I made the right decision on buying a tacoma. Im holding back on the trails cause its so new & i don't have sliders or armor. All I do is take the bypass trails & go mudding now. I cant afford to invest in a roll cage or armor to go rock crawling since the truck was $7,000 & Im broke after buying it. I miss my 85 toyota & im thinking of selling or trading it to get a older 22re xtra cab thats trail ready.
So if anyone is interested in trading or has any good advice for me Id love to hear it!
