New Yota 4x4 owner here
« on: Oct 14, 2012, 02:33:05 PM »
Just bought my first Tacoma 4x4. 1990 TRD SR5 3.4 V6 5speed man trans with upgraded front and rear shocks on 265/75/R16's. I love this truck. It is my only daily driver, my work truck and my get away from the crowds vehicle. It's got 270,000 miles on it but runs pretty well. The P.O. has run synthetics in everything since 2005. I am living in the Yakima, WA. area now but may be moving to Oregon soon. I would love to meet some of you Yota 4x4 folks and learn more about this truck and hit some trails when I think my truck is up to it.
Ron in WA./OR.

:welcome: to  :turtle: from the middle of the Indian Ocean(but soon to back on American soil!) As 79coyotefrg stated, you are the proud owner of a Toyota Truck, not a Tacoma!

Like in my post, Tillamook, and that's where I work, hence why I'm Cheesemaker!!

So, you from Sweet Home then?  I got family there.  They are outlaws, and yes their last name is James!!   :o  And I got buddies that live in Bend and is always telling how freaking nice it is there, while its pouring here.   :shake_head:   Just watch out for jobs in Bend, I hear they are pretty slim.  So, be prepared.

LOL yeah after I posted I looked at ur ID and saw you were from Tillamook. Been there many times. I worked at a cheese factory in Lovington,NM. years ago. It is really dark and wet on that side of the mountains through the long winter.

I'd love to move to a drier environment, but I have too much invested here.   I love the small hometown feel.
