We got a few with the cell phone.

There was a lot of dust in the air when you were away from the rocks.

My only shot from Posi Rock was a self-portrait, and yes, it was the location for a lot of "Madness".   :screwy:

Toyotadon, I saw your rig right at the tech inspection area, when I was getting ready to leave.  Your LC looks good.  I sat at the Marlin booth with Bigmike and Chris from Marlin all day, until 6:30, when I had to leave.
Miss ya Dean (4THEWKN) & Kyle (KYOTA)!!

Toyotadon, I saw your rig right at the tech inspection area, when I was getting ready to leave.  Your LC looks good.  I sat at the Marlin booth with Bigmike and Chris from Marlin all day, until 6:30, when I had to leave.

I wandered over to the booth and bugged Big Mike while he was putting stuff away, but I guess you'd already taken off.

Thanks for the compliments.  The 80 got the hardest workout I've ever put it (and myself) through, great experience for both of us. I also brought my two sons and one of my coworkers, who drove as far as the trailhead and hopped in with us.  We just kind of ran "renegade" and joined in with whatever group was going our way. We didn't go all the way back to base camp, but peeled off to head down to the valley.  Next time, I'll try to plan farther ahead so we can make the full run and spend the night.

Boy there are a couple of studs manning the Marlin tent.

I wish I could have stayed and ran the trail with somebody.  But I had to go back, hose off the van, and pack it up for a 14 hour drive back home.
