Tubing bender mounting locations?
« on: May 14, 2012, 10:06:59 PM »
Just trying to get some feed back from some of you about where you've mounted your benders in your garage. I recently bought a JD Squared Model 32 manual. If I turned it into hydro I would make it on a roller stand and wouldn't be asking this.

I have helped a buddy mount his centered in front of his 2 car garage door so he can have room for excess pipe to stick outside while bending.

But I have a three car garage and I if mounted in front of the garage door would be a pain in the  :moon: to move everytime when wanting to put vehicles back in the garage since I use my garage to store vehicles. I was thinking about mounting it inside the garage between the two doors and angle the bender so I can have excess pipe stick out the big garage door if needed. And the bender would be out of the way if left assembled.

How have you mounted yours.  Any suggestions would be appreciated to help me brainstorm some more placement options.

i just formed a square box and then poured 70.00$ worth of concrete in my back yard.  it's about 4 foot by 5foot and 4 1/2 inches thick a couple short sticks of rebar and then finished it off. looks great but gonna wait for a good cure time before putting  the pressure of a bender to it. i can't hardly wait.  i hope that helps you out. no pictures of it yet.  to lazy.
