  Assuming that things will be the same this year (for the most part), registering means that you get to camp in the Rubicon Springs campground area with all the cool kids. It also means that you get to order the number of meals you want for Saturday nights BBQ (which typically only go on sale if there is extra), plus you also get the dash plaque and a GRAND PRIZE raffle ticket. None if which you will get without registering.

  The best part is the money goes to helping maintain and preserve the Rubicon Trail! 

   Although, if you just show up, you can still buy regular raffle tickets, T-shirts, hoodies, stickers and what not.  You can visit the campground but you can stay overnight without your rig being regsitered and again, all monies contribute to the maintenance and care of the trail!  Best part of all, you get to meet  himself and all his family and crew!

  The registration money is worth it! Especially when the money goes to good use and the prizes are outa this world! Heck, even if my rig couldn't make it, I would still register just for all the goodies that come with it and to know that my money is going to a good cause.  8)

bought plane tickets from tennessee to home and will be making it this year again for sure!!! nothing like traveling over 2000 miles to make the round-up.

Im still going to buy a ticket and an extra meal this year even if I dont make it Because I applied for X-12 this year and general opening day is the same as the round up. so looks like i will be going since my percentage of drawing a deer tag for x-12 is like 3% chance.
