Lol at both em, their toyotas and stock pos carb ones at that, I don't see the 84 worth more then 4500 on a good day and the ifs maybe 3000-3500 tops.

there was that first gen 4runner awhile back that had like 38000 on it sold for I think 25-26k

That one has been for sale for a while.  Some have sold for a few grand cheaper if the seller lets it go for that since some people put out some BIG money for those diesel conversions.  With gas prices climbing, quite a few have been showing up on ebay lately
