need some more help SHOCKS

Hey guys so I'm putting new shocks under my truck I was wondering what size I should run in the rear I see people running 14's and 12's I'm running then like this / \

all depends on how much rear travel you have.

We are going to need a lot more information. Your going to need to take your measuring tape out and start measuring. Most shocks have their full compression and extension measurements online. Most likely going to be a 10" or 12" travel.

If you want the max travel you need to do the forklift thing or get your truck fully flexed out then measure for shocks and bump stops

whats the best way to mount a shock on the rear? should you mount em like in a triangular way or what is a good way?

If you mount them angled toward the center you can get more travel and if you mount them vertical your truck will be more stable at speed.
There is quite a bit of discussion on this subject around here, do a search if you want more opinions.

I run 12's. I tried for a happy medium between angled and straight because I didn't want to cut the bed or have the shocks do nothing if they were angled too steeply. Here's a pic of my setup.
