Ok. So i just picked up an 82 mini. So far i've only rebuilt the knuckles, pressed some new u-joints, balenced tires and replased some fluids. But i,ve got this vib/shake that only happens in 1st&2nd. I can push in the clutch and it goes away but under exceleration it goes nuts. What the heck!!!??? Oh ya, its got 35" w/stock4:10 and 202k

bad u joint  it sounds like wouldnt notice it with out being under power.  pull your rear drive shaft and run it in 4wd and see if it went away

Many thing can be involve.

It sounds like death wobble to me.

My experence with D/W happens around the speed of 30-50  mph.

Question:
Do you have an after market lift, high steer, ect?

You want to check on the spring bushing but first I'll pull out an tape measure and measure the toe of your  front tires.  Too much in and too much out will cause it also.  Next check your tie rod ends it can be roasted.

How much was this lifted, the driveshaft may be out of phase.
