GOT A 01 3.4 IN A 91 4RUNNER IT WILL TURN OVER WHEN COLD BUT NOT START BUT WHEN ITS WARMER IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY IT STARTS RITE UP ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFORE OR KNOW OF THE FIX?

Okay question:

When it does not start does the CEL come on when the key is in the "on" position?

thought i would update this i know how much info helps everyone... got a 91 4runner put dash in it out of tacoma so its all tacoma wiring but it wound up bein the efi relay

Either the cold start injector is bad/clogged or fuel pump is weak.

sounds like a bad idle air control valve... have you tried holding you foot on the gas just slightly and starting it?
if that works try cleaning your throttle body with  rag and wd40/brake cleaner/throttle cleaner..

I figured it out it had a bad efi relay
