broken ez locker in a V6 third
« on: Oct 28, 2011, 05:58:14 PM »
I bought a V-6 third and the PO managed to break all of the pins and both center gears of the ez locker. Is the entire unit a paper weight? Has anyone everhad this problem or replaced any parts in an ez locker?
What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling incoherent response, were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

If it was just the pins broken, I'd say it would be easily fixable and worth it. But with the side gears busted, I'd say scrap those parts and replace them entirely with either another lunchbox locker or a Detroit or ARB. Whichever you choose. But this one is toast for all I know.  :twocents:

Had one with broken pins . lodged sideways . had to torch the pins to get it out . Got new pins and springs from fearless gear . they told me the
older ones would break pins .

Did you use it again after you got it out? This one has the pins lodged in sideways also.

Sure did .  I put new pins and springs in ,  around 10 bucks then.   It was in a gm 12 bolt in a blazer . worked fine after that
