On the 10 degree rotated adapter I'm guessing the reason for this is to rotate the case so it doesn't hang down? Is this correct? If so does anybody know can you put it in an 86 4runner without sheetmetal work or do you have to cut up the floor and more?obviously the shifter will need some modifying but is there anything else? Thanks for any info

:yesnod:  It is rotated to raise the front output of the T-case for improved ground clearance of that part of the T-case.  As for any sheet metal work...not much different than with a non-rotated adapter except the hole you cut for the rear case shifters is slightly over more towards the driver's seat. and you can get the angled twin stick to go with it so that the shifters are straight up and not pointed towards the driver's eat as well.

Thank you sir. That is what I wanted to know. I'm trying not to hack up the body quite yet it's still pretty straight and clean!!

 no problem. Yeah, I'm not one to like cutting things up too much either. But when it came time to doing my floor and shifters I was sure to spend some time and make it like I wanted.    If you're interested at all, I have all what I did in my build thread. (see link in my sig line)

I'm also running the same adapter and did almost no cutting to the tunnel, info in sig  :flamer:
