play in rear transfercase

Have some up and down movement in the rear output flange on my '83.
The flange is tight, the bearings are good and i even swapped the rear cover / housing on the back of the transfercase.
The movement is still there and the seal is starting to leak

Any ideas??

Most have some up and down movement.  The pocket where the bearing sits stretches a little.
A lot of the time if your leaking you can put a marlin hd seal in and it will be fine.

Do you mean where the rear bearing sits in the housing? ( pocket )
Will check out all of my spare cases and see if i have a good one
Then i will see if Marlin will post to Australia, last time i emailed i got no reply.

They will send to Australia.  Ive seen dual case adapters and what not sent there.
