Trash it, one of the 1st things I do to improve travel.

When my truck was IFS, I made fancy quick disconnects.  Disconnected it once, to go on a trail, never got reconnected, finally ended in the trash.  I saw no real difference running without it on the road.

You won't get more travel with IFS but, it sure rides nicer without it. Chucked mine a long time ago. No regrets.

True that it doesn't give any more than the bumpstops will allow but the freedom does allow for true independent travel. With the swaybar on the travel is greatly restricted. Want more travel you either need to shave the stops or get some flat ones.

No one else notices different handling when the sway bar is removed? I remove it also, but it seems to dip the front inside tire more in turns after that. Maybe its just me?

It won't change the ride but will free up the travel and that's why you may feel the "dipping" you are referring to.

Tofudude

the body will lean further out causing that "dipping". The ride quality only affects the IFS system

I took mine off my 4runner. ran it for a year or two without it. did ok, but had alot of body roll, and i have a locker in the rear so it made it worse. so i put it back on and i like it way better than having it off.

Do you want to wheel it or carve turns on a paved road? Wheel=no sway bar, carved turns= bar.

yeah, that truck stock drives like a car on the road. Even after you ditch it though its still pretty good
