6spd manual to 3.4
« on: Sep 22, 2011, 05:47:51 PM »
:headscratch:I am still a year at least from the start of this build. I am wanting to go 6 spd manual to 3.4 in a 97 4 runner. Possible? waste of time? I love it in my 11 tacoma and think it would work geat in a crawler/pavement pounder/camping rig. I still like to run the crap out of it once in a while but like the long road trip/no trailer trips. Hammers here we come.Just want to fin out if its been done or can be.

Close ratios sure are nice (I have a 6 speed in my Supercharged 1987 MR2). Hopefully by the time you get it mated to your 5VZ, we will have a 19-spline Crawler available to go dual cases behind it
